Ruth and DP Cristiano (Cristi) competed at the TVEG  dressage comp at the end of March 2014.  They won the novice class with 69% then won the Prelim class with a whopping 75%. During February and March Ruth and Cristi competed in the Summerland Dressage Club Twilight Series where they were awarded Champion Prelim/Novice combination.

Ruth began concentrating on dressage in 2005 and has trained several young warmbloods. She takes great delight in riding with her daughter Tia and competing in dressage competitions together.

Tia began riding at the age of seven and by the time she was nine, she was the youngest pony club member to advance to novice dressage and at 10 years was able to compete in official dressage classes.

Tia attended Toowoomba Royal Show in 2014. She won several blue ribbons and finished the event by winning the Open Small Pony Champion. A hugely successful show.

Tia has now completed on Tilly Park Top Cat (Tiger) in three Medium level tests in her bid to qualify for the Queensland Young Riders Championships in July where she hopes to compete at Medium. She will likely be the youngest rider to compete at this level.

Latest results
Tia and Tiger competed at the Flat riding Championships in June. Tiger was awarded Supreme Champion Hack and Tia went on to win Champion Junior Rider. She placed first in all five flat riding classes.

Tia attended the National Young Riders Dressage Championships in Queensland in July. She finished top five in all classes and was chosen as a member of the NSW team.

Cristi continued the successful Gotterson run when he competed at the Queensland CDI in the 4 year old Young Horse Class. He was judged by international judges and placed top 3. He then consolidated his training with a win at NADEC in the Novice class with an impressive 72%.

Both Tia and Ruth had a successful weekend at the Tweed Valley Dressage Championships in August. Tia and Tiger won a gorgeous trophy rug for Champion Pony. Cristi and Ruth placed 2nd and 4th in highly contested classes receiving percentages in the high 60s.

Our next outing is the Far North Coast Dressage Championships in early September.
